Episode 7: Bomb Motorcycle

After playing in the snow made from destroying the extreme disaster gas, Everest and Zuma were called over to the Lookout. Reiji and Alex had built a new weapon for them to test: The Eraser Head. It was designed to erase destructive energy from bomb explosions. Skye had also volunteered to test the elimination of destructive power using her Jet Missile as a sample. Reiji told the pups, "Everest, Skye, Zuma, Neo Terror is most likely planning to bomb Adventure Bay into an enormous crater. To prevent that, Alex and I have built this explosion-softening Eraser Head to erase the destructive energy. Everest, you can use it with your snow cannon while Zuma uses it with his bubbles. Skye, provide us an explosive specimen."

Skye barked and backflipped. "This pup's gotta fly! Jet Missile!" She shot a missile forward. Everest countered it with a snowball shot, but the missile turned around and flew out the window. "Sorry Everest, that wasn't me controlling the missile."

Then it was Zuma's turn to counter Skye's missile. "Bubble Shot!" As Zuma shot a bubble at Skye's second missile, the missile dodged the bubble, curved sideways, and hit Zuma. He flew backwards into the wall. "Forget it Weiji, Skye is too much of a quackshot for either of us."

Skye replied, "Zuma, you're giving up that quickly? Let me try out the Eraser Head while you pretend to attack me with a bubble bomb." She loaded an Eraser Head sample into her blaster. As Zuma shot his first explosive bubble at Skye and detonated it in front of her, she countered the explosion with a single shot, erasing the explosion in a white ball of light. "I did it! Make sure you guys work on your aim too."

At Katie's house, Katie was grooming her purple cat Cali before being attacked by Axto droids coming out of nowhere. Katie grabbed a phone in an attempt to contact Ryder. "Ryder, there are strange droids in my house! ...Ryder?" The only reply she got was a droid shooting her phone dead with one blaster bolt. She then kicked one droid only to break her toes. "Ouch! Time to run, Cali!" Carrying Cali, Katie immediately started running away from the droids. She stopped to dig a pitfall and then continued running. Some of the Axto fell in, then the others went around it before slipping and sliding on banana peels Katie left on the floor. Then the third group of Axto caught up to her and she threw a net at them, only for them to cut themselves free with both lightsabers and buzz droids. She managed to get away from the droids, only for one with a red helmet to suddenly jump in front of her: Raaen.

Raaen beat up Katie and Cali and then introduced himself while both were lying down bruised. "So you were trying to tell the Paw Patrol about those droids you were running from, eh? They already know about us, for we've been fighting them for a while. My name is Raaen. Born from the remains of the Ryder you used to know, I am one of Neo Terror's new Great Executives."

Katie scolded Raaen. "So you killed Ryder!"

Raaen replied, "Yeah, and we're going to kill Cali too if you don't follow my orders." He then pointed to a motorcycle with Cali bound and gagged on the front. "This motorcycle is a bomb. It's programmed to explode and wipe out Adventure Bay completely if you don't keep it going. And if you don't get on..." He pointed one arm cannon at Cali.

Katie replied, "Come on, it's nothing Marshall can't-"

Raaen pointed his other arm cannon at an eagle flying above him. "Raaen Beam!" With a large laser blast, he vaporized the eagle. "You don't want that to happen to-" Katie hit him with a small log. He fell backwards a bit, but he was unscathed and the log broke in half. "Nice try! You're not equipped to handle Neo Terror." With this, he easily forced Katie to ride the bomb motorcycle.

Reiji's Rescue Eye quickly identified the bomb motorcycle as an extreme disaster and sounded its siren. He yelled, "Extreme disaster detected! There's a bomb loaded onto Katie's motorcycle and its explosion will wipe out all of Adventure Bay! Everest, move some snow in the way to slow down the bike!"

"Ice or snow, I'm ready to go!"

The screen then showed Cali strapped to the front of the motorcycle. Skye gasped. "Oh no, Cali! If we don't stop that bomb motorcycle, she'll die! I know what can chew off those ropes: Bunnies."

Reiji went on, "Chase, redirect traffic so that the bike can pass through safely!" Said traffic was shown on screen.

"Chase is on the case!"

Reiji continued, "And Rubble and Zuma, there's one more thing you need to see." On the TV screen, some Axto set land mines on the road, including burying some under the pavement. "Rubble, Zuma, use your electromagnet and bubbles to remove the land mines. Zuma, use your sonar to locate the buried mines, and Rubble will dig them out."

"Rubble on the double!"

"Let's dive in!"

And Reiji finished, "Paw Patrol, save the life!"

Everest was the first to act. With a snow blower, she scattered snow onto the road. Katie passed by on her motorcycle and yelled, "Hi Everest!"

As soon as Katie touched the snow, she slowed down, buying Chase some time to redirect the traffic. Everest remarked, "Now I've got to see Chase before any droids overwhelm him." She went off to see Chase setting street cones and using his megaphone to announce that there was an important biker driving through.

An AT-AT appeared, one leg blocking the path Chase had redirected the traffic to, and shot one car, totalling it and creating a traffic jam. Chase remarked, "Everest, you came just in time!" He and Everest barked out their zipline and grappling hook respectively, dodged three more lasers, swung around the AT-AT's legs to topple it, and plugged the laser cannons with tennis balls and snowballs, causing the AT-AT's head to explode. Then Chase used his police car to tow the trashed car away, allowing the traffic to continue moving. Katie passed through to say hi to Chase as well.

Meanwhile, Rubble and Zuma arrived at Neo Terror's cluster of land mines, ready to remove them. Attaching his electromagnet to his crane, Rubble picked up the mines on the surface before Zuma bubbled them. The mines exploded harmlessly inside the bubbles. Zuma, smelling the buried mines, barked out a sonar to pinpoint them. Rubble yelled "Shovel Crash" and dug the buried mines out of the ground for Zuma to bubble them safely. Then three Axto, upset that someone had removed their mines, attacked the two pups. After hitting them with bubbles and a shovel, the pups roundhouse kicked the droids backward onto the last mine. The mine exploded and took the droids with it. Katie passed through and thanked Rubble and Zuma for clearing the mines.

Meanwhile, Skye arrived at a group of bunnies. "Katie should be here any minute now..." As an eagle threatened the bunnies, Skye whipped out her blaster and shot it down before leading the bunnies to her cage with carrots. With the cage loaded, she picked up the cage with her helicopter's harness. Katie began to approach Skye. "Katie! Use these!" Katie caught the cage and opened it. The bunnies began to chew off the ropes holding Cali, but not before an Axto passing by planted some buzz droids on the motorcycle. Drawing their saws and drills, the buzz droids grabbed the bunnies in an attempt to tear off their heads. Katie, having none of that, drove near a wall to scrape off the droids. Then as one came close to beheading Katie as well, the now-freed Cali jumped and pushed the droid off the bike. Cali and the droid then rolled like wrestlers on the floor before Cali clawed the droid's core out. Unfortunately, the Axto from earlier then shot Cali in all four legs, paralyzing her before taking her away.

Reiji then contacted the pups after watching footage of Katie fleeing the Axto from earlier. He remarked, "Pitfalls, banana peels, nets...That youngster just gave me a good idea. We need to trap that bike!"

The pups complied. Rubble dug a pitfall for the bike to fall in. Marshall used his water cannon to fill it with water. Zuma inserted some bubble solvent in the water so his anti-explosion bubbles could contain the bike. And Everest put snow in the water to freeze the bomb's circuits.

Neo Terror then summoned TIE Fighters to prevent Katie's motorcycle from going into the pitfall. Katie swerved back and forth to avoid their shots while Chase and Skye shot the ships down to eventually make a ramp for the bike to jump over. As the bike jumped, Katie abandoned ship the moment one last TIE Fighter shot at it in an attempt to redirect it.

"Trust me, Katie." Skye loaded another Eraser Head sample into her blaster and shot the bike, knocking it forward out of the TIE Fighter's shot's way. Then she blew up the ship with a Jet Missile to the cockpit. Just as planned, the bomb bike fell into Rubble's pitfall. As soon as the bike landed, it rose back up in a bubble and Everest's snow froze the bomb's circuits. The bike exploded, but the bubble contained it and the explosion became a luminous sphere rather than a deadly fireball. Skye posed with the other pups and announced, "Explosively completed!"

Katie then met Reiji and the pups at the Lookout, picking up their Tomica Hero Rescue Force complete series DVD. "So you good pups have been watching this show and reenacting it for your last few rescues." She then watched the first episode. When it got to the first appearance of the Axto, Katie remarked, "So the droids are from a TV show. Maybe if I continue with it, I'll know more about 'em."

Reiji stepped in. "Youngster, I, Reiji Osakabe, am from the show too. More specifically, I appear in the movie and the show's sequel Rescue Fire. Ryder fell in the line of duty, so I had to take over for him. Wait a minute...your pet cat, Cali...is she not with you?!?"

Katie began to panic. "Cali, CALI! Oh no, the droids got her as well! And one of the droids, Raaen, claimed that he was made with Ryder's remains. Unforgivable! I better see Rescue Force in person!"

Episode 8: Katie visits Japan to meet Hikaru Todoroki.
